I have registered the project and checked sources in.  There
are still problems with mailing lists and web pages, but the
sources are in CVS and that part (the most important) one is
working.  Anyone interested can grab the sources with

  cvs -d:pserver:address@hidden:/cvs/quarry co quarry

Note to those who have already had experience with Quarry:
now you _have_ to install it, opposite to the way it worked
before.  The binary can be actually placed anywhere, but the
data files (`gtkrc' and the texture) now have to be where
they are installed to (normally `/usr/local/share/quarry').
