Thank you for these bug reports.

The experimental-owl-ext configure and runtime option is
known to be dangerous and can cause crashes. It was
disabled in 3.6 but not in 3.7*. We will have to either
take this option down or fix the crashes, but meanwhile
better recompile without this option.

configure options: ./configure --enable-experimental-break-in
--enable-experimental-owl-ext --enable-experimental-reading
--enable-cosmic-gnugo --enable-large-scale --enable-oracle

About these, experimental-reading will definitely slow
your engine down and cosmic-gnugo will definitely make
it weaker. The break-in option is enabled by default,
so this configure option has no effect.
