Pretty much, which includes anything you can use SQL for to
make it look like numeric, such as
20090327
20090330
20090411
20110501
etc.

We are passing in *series* not single values. The series
come from the column you chose for the x- and y-axis.

There would, if you tell PostgreSQL to format the dates like
shown above.
