[Gnumed-bugs] Attach documents - limitation on input into free text document description

I tried pasting a consultation into the free text area of

        Attach documents

but on account of its length of 150 lines, ~ 2 pages ~ 8K of characters) it 
tripped an error to do with exceeding the index length.

        OperationalError: index row size 4684 exceeds maximum 2712 for index 
"doc_desc_doc_id_key"
        HINT:  Values larger than 1/3 of a buffer page cannot be indexed.



Since the currently-provided input space is so large, but can technically 
accept only limited text, can we put a StaticText label atop this space


        Free text description (max 1/3 page)


and in my situation where clinically relevant text is accessible to copy from a 
different application is there no good way to import other than to save from 
the clipboard into a document and then import the document?
