[Gnumed-bugs] Trouble to search last name with apostrophe (single quote)

I have a patient whose name is like

        O'Kelly, Michael

who if I search for “‘’ ’

        o'k

I get nothing, same if I search

        o'kelly

but if I search as little as

        o',m

then it yields the same as if I did not use the single quote (as if I searched 
o,m) … it returned are several matches where the first is

        O'Kelly | Michael

and the remaining several may or may not have an M as the first character in a 
lastname or firstname (none of the m having an 'O' and some of them having no 
name beginning in either O or M).


BTW I also changed the patient's surname to include a curly quote

        O'Kelly

but it does not seem the single quote was relevant because when I search

        O'Kelly

I still get no matches. Does this mean that GNUmed cannot process anything past 
the first non-alpha character therefore

        O'Anything, Peter

can only be usefully searched for as

        o,peter

??
