I don't see this behaviour when going to the about URL, or clicking on 
any links whatsoever on the wiki. Please report more details, and if 
anyone experiences this, please let me know.

Yes, you are forced to login to edit a page (but not just to view it). 
However, you can login with TWikiGuest/guest. So this is an open system, 
but it requires users to either login as guest, or create a username and 
then login.

Jim, I had enabled a typical change which is mentioned in the twiki 
installation docs. The default twiki install is a no-holds barred setup. 
Anyone can log in, do as they please, and there is no required logging 
in. This is fine in my opinion, the thing I don't like is to see a 
change log where every change was made by "guest" and there's no way to 
tell who made what change. So I favour:

-public access to all pages in the Gnumed web for viewing
-a private "web" can be created later, which can be private if we wish
-login required for editing

It is debatable whether or not we should have a TWikiGuest account. I 
favour removing it. This is essentially how twiki.org operates. There is 
no guest account, registration/login is required, and so all changes are 
logged. But anyone can register, so essentially, yes, guests are 
allowed. :-)

The NOSPAM thing is configurable. That is what I put. Have spammers 
looking for email addresses started to filter out this string? Maybe we 
can put something else there.

If anyone finds a different twiki theme on the web, let me know, and we 
can consider changing. I still need to modify the current scheme though, 
so that Tux's legs are cut off by the sidebar.
