I tried to base a business on it (users had to install gpg for it to work) and
it failed.

Now there is server-side signing for the very reason. Gour please ask your
wife to set up a gpg key for launchpad.

Users are doctors. 1% of them are technically inclined. 1% of 1% are
technically capable (good doctors they still are:-))

Look at the market leader. they *do not* require anything but opening your
wallet. That is the way to go. Open source is a choice. GNUmed is inteded to
provide a solution , not a solution that can be handled by anyone. Doctors
are doctors.

They don't register with launchpad because they fear that their patient
records will end up at LP. the do not remmeber passpharses for GPG keys
because they *do not* use GPG.

IT people are IT people. They will use GPG, LP and blueprints. They are
welcome to learn anything that they need to base a business on GNUmed.

Doctors are bug reporters because they use GNUmed. The get work done. They
crash GNUmed. It people write software to crash programs.

GNUmed wants reports from doctors and IT people. Period. If you are an IT
person and put of by user's reports you better change your system , not the
doctor.
