Hi John, it looks like the bootstrapper got advanced to be able to create the new database (_v10) although I did not realize that Karsten (?) had released it.
What you need to revise is a line in your or gnumed-client.conf file located in either your invisible (hidden) folder where the file would be one of
/home/<user>/.gnumed/gnumed.conf /home/<user>/.gnumed/gnumed.conf or else in the gnumed-from-cvs.conf file /home/joeh/GNUmed-0.3.2/gnumed-from-cvs.conf and in the above, to alter where it says [profile GNUmed database on this machine (Linux/Mac)] ... database = gnumed_v10 changing _v10 into database = gnumed_v9
