True enough as can be seen in the wiki. It might make sense
to be able to select the scaling of the printout.
Is there any need other than for one-half or one-quarter ?
By the way on the CurrentMedicationList page I think that the word
"dose" should be replaced by "strength" since the "dose" would be the
instance of taking an amount, whatever that amount would be whereas
"dosage" is the amount a person is supposed to take.
Is it ok for me to change "dose" to "strength" ?
I think one-half and one-quarter may satisfy most use cases if these
can be appended to whole numbers:
<whole number> + " and " + "fractional words"
e.g. 2 and one-half or
two and one-half
e.g. if a patient is taking an oral anticoagulant (warfarin or
nicoumalone) with a base strength of 2mg but their dosage is five mg
daily their instruction could be
Coumadin | warfarin | 2mg | - | - | 2.5 (two and one-half) | - |
