The time that your advertised IP is going to be considered valid is specified 
in your gnunet.conf (timeout option). So if you advertise 1 week, 1 week it 
is. There is currently no cap on the time that can be advertised, but you are 
right, we probably want to introduce some cap at some point -- but what would 
be a reasonable is up for debate.
