Good idea, I added some stuff about this. I didn't move the Guile stuff
though, having it in the Guile chapter of the manual seemed better.
There is a cross-reference in the 'Downloading and installing' node
though.
Let me know what you think, and if you can think of some improvement
(preferably in the form of patches :)).
