Hey folks,

I've gotten my android to give me GPS data before. I had to write some
java to make it happen. *sigh*

I can't really do anything else with this Dream (T-Mobile G1) device, so
I figure I'd connect it to my router via USB and have it act as a GPS.
But in order to do that, it needs to have an application installed and
running. It should be possible to launch the application from the adb
command line, so really all that's necessary is the installation of this
application.

I figure I'll call it AndroidGPSD (provided you all don't mind me
stealing your trademark) and publishing it in the google play store.
Anyone feel like helping me find a good way to expose the GPS bits to
the host system? Maybe I could open a named pipe and communicate that
way.

Let me know what you think.

C.J.
