I don't follow.  If we can figure it out and ensure there are no privacy
leaks when getting data, it seems that TTFF could drop from perhaps
minutes to seconds.  TTFF can be especially long when there are frequent
sky view obstructions.

Maybe because I am on the equator, but with a decent skyview, I get a cold start TTFF in under 30 secs.  (I jest not). 

This is a unit without a battery, shipped from a factory (it could have an almanac in NVRAM, I suppose, though I doubt testing in factory includes leaving them on the roof, powered on).
