Hi,

in my buildroot-project I have compiled gpsd 3.10 with the following settings:
GPSD_SCONS_OPTS = \
        arch=$(ARCH)\
        prefix=/usr\
        chrpath=no\
        strip=no\
        python=no\
        manbuild=no\
        shm_export=no\
        ntpshm=no\
        debug=on

compilation succeeds, but when starting I get an "illegal instruction" error
and gpsd ends:
~ # gpsd -N -D10 /dev/ttyS3
gpsd:INFO: launching (Version 3.10)
gpsd:IO: opening IPv4 socket
gpsd:SPIN: passivesock_af() -> 3
gpsd:IO: opening IPv6 socket
gpsd:SPIN: passivesock_af() -> 4
gpsd:INFO: listening on port 2947
Illegal instruction
~ #

Any ideas?

Cheers
Arndt
