I've been working on a Javad using binary GREIS.  I can barely manage
4Hz at 115200.

Have you tried capturing the raw data to see if it is all there?
If you can send a copy to this list I can check it for you.

Those GSV can get really big.

No, you just said the others are in there too, just not at 10Hz.

Yeah, turn off 10Hz and go to 4Hz, if only for a test.  gpsd
does not handle input buffer overflows well...
