Indeed -- BTW, before World War I, Lemberg was the capital of the
Austrian part of Galicia.

But I don't have Polish blood -- my father's family is coming from
Upper Silesia which was part of Germany (and Austria before) for a
loong time (now it is in Poland).

In Vienna, AFAIK, only our family is present in the telephone book,
but in, say, Berlin, there is a full page with `Lemberg'.

I will finish this thread since it is now really far off-topic...
