[PATCH]: grub: Fix ieee1275 iteraters to stop when hook() returns non-ze

From: David Miller
Subject: [PATCH]: grub: Fix ieee1275 iteraters to stop when hook() returns non-zero.
Date: Thu, 23 Apr 2009 03:33:18 -0700 (PDT)

This is the third part of fixing FS_UUID on sparc64.

The IEEE1275 devalias and child iterators were not like true grub2
iterators, even though their users expected as such.

Instead of stopping on the first non-zero hook return, they gave
instead error codes and walked the entire list of objects
unconditionally, invoking hook on all of them.

This severely broke things like FS_UUID. I very strongly doubt that
any powerpc user tried successfully using FS_UUID in grub2 due to this
issue.

        * disk/ieee1275/nand.c (grub_nand_iterate): Return
        grub_devalias_iterate() result instead of unconditional 0.
        * disk/ieee1275/ofdisk.c (grub_ofdisk_iterate): Likewise.
        Also, capture hook return value, either directly or via
        grub_children_iterate(), and propagate to caller.
        * include/grub/ieee1275/ieee1275.h (grub_devalias_iterate,
        grub_children_iterate): Return value is now 'int' instead of
        'grub_err_t'.
        * kern/ieee1275/openfw.c (grub_children_iterate): Fix to behave
        like a proper iterator, stopping when hooks return non-zero.
        (grub_devalias_iterate): Likewise.
