Hello,

unfortunately, the patches for cryptomount

    0001-Cryptomount-support-LUKS-detached-header.patch
    0002-Cryptomount-support-key-files.patch
    0003-Cryptomount-luks-allow-multiple-passphrase-attempts.patch
    0004-Cryptomount-support-plain-dm-crypt.patch
    0005-Cryptomount-support-for-hyphens-in-UUID.patch

which were submitted to grub-devel in 2015 (see
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/grub-devel/2015-06/msg00109.html) and
were again discussed on the grub-help mailing list last year, with the
result of revisiting after the next release, have still not been merged.

The author of these patches has provided a summary page about the
patches here: http://grub.johnlane.ie/

I would personally advocate for merging these patches, as I see immense
use in them. To provide plausible deniability in a crypto setup,
detached luks headers are very much required.

Could anyone give their approval for merging?

Best regards
Yannik
