   any plans for removing guilerxspencer dependency from guile-scsh?
   i'd really prefer not to have to install that (and whatever it
   depends on) given guile's "native" regex support.  if no one is
   working on this, maybe i can find a way and contribute a patch...

oops spoke too soon... i see now that spencer regex handles NULs while
posix regex (that guile uses) doesn't.  maybe posix will change in the
future?
