One problem I just noted -- you set GUILE_LOAD_PATH to ${top_srcdir},
but then we invoke it from libguile. Unless I'm following things
wrong, this will fail (and appears to have for me) because
GUILE_LOAD_PATH=., but you're in libguile, so ice-9/* isn't in the
path.
I'll see about fixing it. I've got to release a 1.5.6 now anyhow -- I
introduced a syncase bug yesterday.
