Answered my own question: you have to touch gtk/gnome/gw/gtk-spec.scm before make if you want g-wrap to run.

Subject: make doesn't seem to be running g-wrap

I'm trying to add a wrapper for gtk_tree_model_filter_set_visible_func, and I've run into a problem that I can't figure out. One of the files I edited was gtk/gnome/overrides/gtk.defs, to remove this function from the ignore list and add a define-method. Having made this and of course other changes, I go to the top level and run make; make install. Finding then that the method I thought I'd defined doesn't actually exist, I poke around and find for instance that gtk/gnome/gw/gtk.scm has not been regenerated by make, which I expected. Far as I can tell none of the files generated by g-wrap have been redone. Should it have been, or am I confused?

Thanks,
Dave Cottingham
