How to build guile-core from CVS ?

Hello,

I wish I could ask more advanced questions, but...

I wanted to try out guile-core from CVS and so, I
checked it out today.  When I tried to build it, it
failed me at autogen.sh.  Would anyone kindly
enlighten me on what I am doing wrong?

I also tried guile-www/autogen.sh.  automake seems to
work there.

[guile-www]$ ./autogen.sh

automake: configure.in: installing `./mkinstalldirs'
automake: configure.in: installing `./missing'
automake: reading Makefile.am
