     Ouch.  My laptop is faster, but yeah, I sympathize.  :-)
     
     I wonder about the environmental footprint of the switch to Texinfo 5.
     
I think having 4.x in guix is also a good idea, since there are still packages 
in the wild
whose manuals don't build with 5.x
