I've checked Evince and it works fine. I couldn't find EOG. What's the
name of the package?

Yes, I've read Mark's comments. I'm not ignoring his comments. I just
do not have a better idea.

Attached an updated patch. If it is fine, I will update the
documentation in a separate patch to follow.
