After following the instructions in release.org and copying texinfo.tex
from a recent gnulib into build-aux, I ran the following command and
built a working VM image:

guix environment --pure guix --ad-hoc imagemagick git texlive texinfo -- make 
release

Those extra packages all seem to be required.

I disabled the disk-image builds to save time and disk space.
