Which kernel version are you using?

Here’s a mention of the “unable to decommit memory” bug:

    https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/18118

This suggests that it’s something to do with a new glibc and/or an older
kernel, or maybe a GHC configuration problem.

FWIW: I’m using Linux libre 4.15.2-gnu (x86_64) with 16GB of RAM.
