        Strange. I made jar from the current snapshot of docutils. I got it
        run through jython after commented three assertions:
        
        assert key.step is None, 'cannot handle slice with stride'
        
        Strange is that "key.step is not None" returned always true for me (when
        processing any rst file), but "assert key.step is None" failed only
        once with pegboard.rst. I didn't find any reason why it fails.
        
        Anyway, hope 'make pegs' works now with jython and new docutils.jar
        (it does on me).
