Thinking about Slicer and saving; diffing is probably better
than using the DeltaSpace stuff for that, like Benja said, but
still the DeltaSpace is reasonable for the Leo functionality, 
everything fits pretty nicely.

While thinking, continued a little on blobs, thinking about
Voronoi diagrams on a sphere, having trouble, until realizing
that it is in fact simply the intersection of the full 3D Voronoi 
diagram with the sphere.

Jvk: could you look into putting more than one layer, with alpha
being set by one of the dot products, and with alpha getting
less on the average on each pass. Also, using random blending modes.
