Hi Suraj,

i was trying to explore access permission on Gnuhealth suddenly the Party
> menu disappear and i cant get it back.

1. You may log in with administrator account (The account you created the
database).

2.  go to the access permission and find the menu again.
(Administration>UserInterface>Menu)

3. Search for party and open it in the formview and check whether it is
still active

4. Now go to administration > Model> Model access and search for party.

5. There are two groups with party name. open both of them

6. Delete All model access for party :)

7. Update party module, (Administration> It will recreate party access
rules.

8. Take note of default access rules when It is updated and next time if
you face this issue again , Instead of updating the party module , You can
edit those access rules.  :)

Regarding the second question.

in addition to this is it possible to backup data only when you want to
> backup the database and restored only the data to another database.

1. You may export records as csv file from the client. then you have data
instead of the whole db. To do this use the tool bar and select the export
menu.

2. You may use a new tool which has been created with someone in the US
which is synchronizing your database with a new database. This tool is for
advanced users and not recommended for you at this moment.

3. Another option is to directly connect to PostgreSQL and of course you
can do anything there.
