yes, I did my homework ;-) and I did any search before post 
this question.

In the mailinglist archives I found some threads about 
similar problems:

but in this case the curious is that the check for
the root partition _work_fine_, whilst for any other
_not_ :-?

Following the advise of the above mail if I put 
a negative value I get:

" ...disk/required size attribute with silly value (must be > 0)"
