persistent errors on one machine, multiple cfengine versions.

Hi

I have one machine which persistantly gives cfengine errors.  I've
upgraded both the server and this machine to 2.0.7p3 and it now gives a
similar, but not identical error:

cfengine:sr003r01: Couldn't stat /var/cfengine/state/cf_procs, which
needed editing!
cfengine:sr003r01: Check definition in program - is file NFS mounted?


Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
