I tried using gnus for mail. Now I just use it for news. I keep seeing
comments
from people who enjoy using gnus for mail. I assume they either have more
tinker
times, quicker insights or better luck than I do.

I use Pegasus ( http://www.pmail.com ) on MS Windows, mostly because it's
free and
it's a corporate semistandard where I work. It's neither miserable nor
wonderful. At
home I use mutt ( http://www.mutt.org ) and enjoy it, but I have RedHat for
Alpha at
home. mutt on windows is evidently less stable. People seem to think it's
firming up
though, and it's part of the Cygwin ( http://cygwin.com ) distribution lately.
mutt
claims to support MH folders (and probably does, I just haven't tried).
