Could you show me your settings for the following variables:
printer-name
lpr-command
ps-printer-name
ps-lpr-command
direct-print-region-use-command-dot-com
Also, which version of Windows are you using?
Finally, what is the result of evaluating
(getenv "winbootdir")
on your system?
