  Thanks.  I read the manual, and looked at gtags/gtags.conf,
  but do not understand the termcap(5) format of .globalrc;  
  how do I specify the following in ~/.globalrc?:

      GTAGSROOT=/h/home/sgovinda/activity/ct
      GTAGSDBPATH=/h/home/sgovinda/activity/ct/global
