Seems odd that the same program built on SOLARIS,
Linux, and HP-UX but not AIX.  Are you sure that
this problem is confined to AIX.  In which case,
the suggestion by Reg Beardsley might have merit.
Or have you messed up badly?  In which case, you
might need to repeat the experiment.  Just some
thoughts.
