RE: How to make cygwin/bash shell work in emacs

Thanks for your reply. I did not read the site information. This is the next
thing I'll do. If things still do not work, I'll take the liberty of posting
my startup files. Although I'm not sure that I use any at the present. The
only file I've worried about, was the .emacs file.

The only problem I'm aware of is that ^C does not work (because the
Emacs pipe is not TTY as Cygwin excepts it). If you're problems are
different please post examples and also your shell startup files (i.e.
your ~/.bashrc or ~/.[t]csh + ~./login).

I assume you've read the Cygwin FAQ entry: How do I run bash as a shell
under NT Emacs? (http://cygwin.com/faq/faq_toc.html#TOC60).
