This is an example for a set of function symbols...

I have my own fixed-width fonts, installed in
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc. They work fine in XTerm, etc.
When I try to bring up one of these fonts with 'set-default-font', a
scalable font is used instead of my own. On the other hand, a
'set-default-font 10x20' works as expected.
It used to work with previous versions of Emacs.
What am I missing?

Thank you Klaus!
I don't know how I missed it, but I'm sure glad I asked!
