Tip of the day: vcursor.el

It seems that this is a package which is too little known.  It gives
you a second cursor, so to speak.  So you can move the second cursor
to another spot in the file, hit a key, and the word at that spot
will be copied to point.  (There are more keys for copying other
things than just words.)  When the primary and the secondary cursor
move too far apart to show them both at the same time, the window
will be split so that both are shown.

vcursor.el comes with Emacs 21.3, AFAIK.
