w3 widget-before-change error

With curent CVS version "WWW p4.0pre.47 2001/10/01" of w3-mode and
current CVS version "21.3.50.1" of Gnu Emacs (including url, widget
and custom libraries), I get the following error messages:
error in process filter: widget-before-change: \
Text is read-only: "Attempt to change text outside editable field"
error in process filter: Text is read-only: \
"Attempt to change text outside editable field"
I also tried the cvs version of the url packages, but the error seems
to be related to the widget library in Emacs CVS.
Any help or comments?
