Could be the Makefile uses the wrong name. On my Panther system there is no file with the string tcltklib in it. There too is a TclTk add-on for Mac OS X: http://tcltkaqua.sourceforge.net/


I am going to upgrade to Tiger on monday. It will have ruby
1.8.2 I will try to reinstall emacs, and see if it is the
same in tiger.


You probably know there there is a Tiger version of the Japanese Carbon Emacs ...
