I'm using
GNU Emacs 21.3.50.1
on WIndowsXP
The following two lines in my .emacs
(require 'python-mode)
(global-font-lock-mode 1)
give me the following error (using debug on init):
Debugger entered--Lisp error: (error "Invalid face" font-lock-keyword-
face)
internal-copy-lisp-face(font-lock-keyword-face py-pseudo-keyword-
face #<frame emacs@BESANAA01 0x1670800> nil)
copy-face(font-lock-keyword-face py-pseudo-keyword-face #<frame
emacs@BESANAA01 0x1670800>)
copy-face(font-lock-keyword-face py-pseudo-keyword-face)
py-font-lock-mode-hook()
run-hooks(font-lock-mode-hook font-lock-mode-on-hook)
font-lock-mode()
turn-on-font-lock()
turn-on-font-lock-if-enabled()
global-font-lock-mode(1)
eval-buffer(#<buffer *load*> nil "~/.emacs" nil t)
;;; Reading at buffer position 270
load-with-code-conversion("c:/Documents and Settings/besanaa/.emacs"
"~/.emacs" t t)
load("~/.emacs" t t)
#[nil "................
command-line()
normal-top-level()
If I set global-font-lock-mode once emacs started then no problem.
I can't undertand if the problem is related to py-pseudo-keyword-face
or not.
Thank you for any possible suggestion.
