Hm, for braces you use Tex-insert-braces, bound to C-c-{. I don't
think there is a predefined parentheses analog. You can of course
modify Tex-insert-braces. by replacing tex-grop and texgrcl by ( and
). The key binding C-c-( is already taken, though.
