Nope, does not work: scholz@binge:~/Forschung/Arbeiten/2008/Invarianten$ type ispell ispell is /usr/bin/ispell Added (setq load-path (append (list "/usr/bin") load-path)) to .gnu-emacs-custom (and this is evaluated in deed) The error remains Ulrich
