start emac --debug-init, copy from *Backtrace* window

Subject: start emac --debug-init, copy from *Backtrace* window

I started emacs from the shell by:

emacs --debug-init&

I get the errors reported into the window *Backtrace*.  How do I copy
this error from emacs' window *Backtrace* to gedit?
