On the new 23.1 release.. How can I make the truncate lines option stick? I have to set it on every new buffer. It will not save when I click to save the options. I don't recall having this problem with 22.x.
as in previous versions, by placing this into your .emacs file? (setq default-truncate-lines 1) (setq truncate-partial-width-windows 1) not sure what the story is with "... will not save ..."
