- using the x11 selection works from xterm to emacs and vice versa
- copy/paste from Emacs to a Java app (both running on the Linux
virtual machine) fails both ways
- with Firefox on the virtual machine, I can copy in emacs and paste
it into firefox as the x11 selection. I can also copy things in
Firefox and then paste it into Emacs as the x11 selection

so:
1 - there is a problem between emacs and java apps, when they are both
on the virtual machine, as I posted in another thread (http://
groups.google.com/group/gnu.emacs.help/browse_thread/thread/
90900baeba96b2a6#)
2 - Emacs is the only thing having issues copy/pasting from guest
virtual machine to host.
