M-x highlight-regexp RET [^[:ascii:]] RET
You can then choose the color
hi-yellow, hi-blue, hi-pink, hi-green, hi-black-b ...
Put what follows on the top of the file if you want the highlighting
to be done automatically every time the file is loaded.
