dnd-protocol-alist on OSX

This feature would be quite usefult o implement automatic insertion (and copying) of images/files into orgmode buffers upon drag and drop, but I can't seem to make it work under Lion, using GNU Emacs 23.4.1 v. "(x86_64-apple-darwin, NS apple-appkit-1038.36) of 2012-01-29 on bob.porkrind.org".
