Also, shell-prompt-pattern is working in shell-mode. In shell mode:
echo $PS1
\[\033[01;32m\]\u@\h\[\033[00m\]
\[\033[01;34m\]\W\[\033[00m\]\[\033[1;32m\]\$\[\033[m\]
Also, don't forget, the problem is not seen in 24.2
I used emacs from fedora. Used rpmbuild --rebuild to build the fedora 20 rpm
on
fedora 18. I don't see anything added by the fedora rpm that would change this
prompt regex (but haven't searched exhaustively)
