Thank you for taking a look Kevin.
No grep doesnt show the same kind of behavior.
I actually found a solution by simply changing 'igrep-mode to 'grep-mode in 
this code:
>        (compilation-start command
>                           'igrep-mode
>                           nil 

And that did the trick.
